  1. I replaced both axles... unless you are replacing with same axle you will need to replace both axles... and yes, install everything myself. I let the dealer work on it once, NEVER AGAIN!!! I don't trust their competency. I do all my own wrenching now.
  2. Very nice looking rack. Like the extra storage
  3. So what happened? Did CanAm take care of you? Things still good? Hoping it all went well Joe
  4. I put these tires on those rims. I wanted DOT rated tires....
  5. 5+3 all the way around got a 5 as a spare
  6. Hello Robert, writing cuz I saw your bumper picture. I have the same bumper but took my upper light guards and moved them because they hit directly inline with the bulbs.  First a dremel cut wheel and then sanded the area. Then clamped it up to the upper bar and welded it in place. Well.... then just for individuality.... custom painted it.... as well as my skid bars and rear bumper... LOVE the look of the bumper!!

  7. Well first off let Bear (my sxs) and I be the first to WELCOME YOU!! Nice ride you got there... Seems the axles are a weak link. Bear's right front blew up at around 1500 miles. I went with Gorilla axles since they didn't warranty mine and didn't have any in stock anyway. Now it seems the front visco-lok is damaged so I'll be swapping in a Halo locker... Also beware of the AC.... Not sure if they have figured out the system yet as they were having multiple issues with them in the beginning... Didn't mean to turn this into a Dear John letter... lol... You have a sweet lookin' ride!!! ENJOY IT!!!! and..... WELCOME TO THE FORUMS!!! Joe and Bear
  8. Is it installed correctly? Or possibly a pinhole?
  9. I actually prefer "clear" fuel..... less BS in the overall end. Especially if you store your ride for any time...
  10. I went with two 6" at a slight angle from center. Gives me a bit more coverage widening the roadway light. Gives me a bit of light on the road/trail edges... then ontop I have 3 lights 2 more 6" over the A-pillars and a 24" straightforward.... plenty of light...
  11. Not a fan of spacers... I would rather get offset rims. But as for threads? Most spacers are rotated so THEY bolt on to the hub and then the rim bolts to it. A slighty narrower rear end will track better in the snow and slop. Good luck with your decision. Are you running everything OEM? Why is it you want to space things out? Handling? Stance?
  12. Next will be skids and bumpers... Wheels and tires.... GPS and sound system...... the list goes ON AND ON!!! 😉
  13. First off, Bear and I would like to welcome you to the forum... Secondly say, the ADDICTION IS REAL!!! But yer here now, so you found the right place... Many of great people here with lots of knowledge and experiences already... and are willing to help in any way we can.... Great looking rig!!! WELCOME!!!! Joe and Bear
  14. I have 32's on Bear.... No considerable difference... many here are running 30's... shouldn't be an issue. Although like Andy said, clutching may be your next move... Good luck and great to see you here, Joe and Bear
  15. Must ALWAYS BE PREPARED!!! When I'm playin' HARD I always carry my toy box... extra straps... snatch blocks... chainsaw.. shovel... etc.... Id rather have it in Bear and NOT need it.... Than not have it... and NEED IT!!
  16. In the same mode as Andy... I have used a couple downed logs or a one and a stump... take one and roll it under one end or use a stump... (building a ramp) drive said flat corner up ramp to lift off ground... change tire... Pretty much always carry a shovel of sorts at ALL TIMES!! Can dig down some if needed...
  17. There is a hole plugged with foam just in front of the door latch post. Behind the front fender... that was where I ran mine... let me see if i have a picture... No picture on file... if you need, I can possibly take one later.
  18. Here is a better shot of the flap... and original location of rail. The rail now comes out to the width of the front tires which allows the snow to drop out and not jamb up under the door.
  19. I also has to add flare extensions for the larger tires... (you can kinda see them in the pics) I used a rear seat carpet cover for a mini van... (all I could find where I was) and it seems to work, and has grown on me... I was shooting for a semitrailer flap to modify for my extension.
