    • Hi........ Just repaired a problem on my 2019 Defender HD10 XT with Cab.  After replacing faulty power window switches with third party, inexpensive versions last year, the power windows suddenly stopped working on both sides of the machine.  In addition, the dome light was not working as well.  A search for a fuse dedicated to these circuits was fruitless....the owner's manual does not mention or picture any such fuse box or fuse block. Solution 1: the relevant fuse is hidden under the overhead console right above the windshield.  Remove the six T30 [Torx 30] screws which hold it in place along with the two T30 screws which hold the rear-view mirror.  Drop the panel and you will see a linear fuse block shown in picture with red and yellow wires.  Remove the cover and replace the 30-ampere mini-blade fuse...color code green....in the center slot.  You can see the windshield washer fluid hose passing behind the fuse block. Cause: after replacing the fuse and checking window motor functions, the fuse blew again.  The problem was traced to the dome light....probably the switch.  It managed to break in some fashion and the dome light was drawing too much current....which blew the fuse.  Fuses are never the problem; there is always a circuit overload which causes them to break the circuit by melting.  It's their job ! Solution 2: I just removed the dome light entirely from the machine.  On the driver's side, remove the two T20 [Torx 20] screws which secure the edge of the headliner.  Remove the two screws which secure the dome light with a 7/32-inch nut driver or socket.  Then pull the headliner down just enough to reach and disconnect the dome light wires at the two connectors.  There is a knot in the wires which prevents them from sliding through the hole in the headliner.  Then just replace the headliner and secure it with the two screws again.  If you have a new dome light, just install it and wait for the new one to fail once more....or it may work well for a long time.  My dome light lasted five years !! It's an easy fix !!  The location of the relevant fuse has been kept a secret by the technical writer who prepared the manual.  Good luck !!
    • Are you able to tell us what the dealer did to separate the clutch for you?
    • i see you had the fuel pump question as well.  did you pump out the fuel and add new?  is it still just popping? steve
    • howd you make out?  you can also use take the clamp off of the fuel pump at the outlet and check it there.  I think spec is 51 +/- 1 or 2 psi for the pump for reference.  while you have it apart, check the filter screen, buy a new one from amazon and change it just to be sure.   also take a look at your spark plug gap, i had trouble with mine and after getting proper gap, it has been good since. steve
