  1. You would have to get a non-XMR trans/rear diff (or at least the internals). I haven't heard of any aftermarket solutions. You could have one the outfits that rebuilds Defender transmissions that usually pull out the turf mode, add it in to yours.
  2. Using the XS Power Stud, you don't need to remove any panels, just one of the two screws in the corner of the door, the 6mm side of the stud threads into that hole, then the seizmik mirrors thread onto the 3/8" side. And the mirrors are still foldable.
  3. I used Seizmik mounted to a 6mm to 3/8" stud from XS Power. Replaces one of the OEM door screws. With mirrors and studs, was less than $60 total. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0089XOE0C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  4. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D61158K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 That's the one I ordered. Can't remember the hole saw size I used, wanna say 1" maybe.
  5. I used it for a round USB power port with voltage meter (same size as the 12v outlet). So go for it!
  6. Another mod I'd recommend is S3 Springs front and back. Tighter coiled, helps reduce spring sag (giving a pseudo lift of about 1-1/2") and better support for heavy loads, as well as better handling (less body roll in turns) without sacrificing comfort.
  7. Agree with rear view, but I do like having the side mirrors as well. Especially for plowing, being able to see how close I am to things on the sides it an advantage. (In a full cab model, so just looking out the side is not as easy)
  8. No, I don't run a rear bumper winch, don't have a need really. Putting one on a bar across the front of the bed as a game winch for deer. I use Vulcan Tire Nets for tie down, fastest and easiest way to strap down. I wouldn't rely on those plastic hinge brackets for anything at all, pulling/pushing wise.
  9. Underneath the front side body panel (the piece above and side of headlights), there is a large hole under there you can pass stuff through just below the 'A' pillar.
  10. In MN, we're required to have headlights on at all times during operation of ATVs/SxSs. So I just leave my headlight switch on.
  11. What do you mean 'How do these sound"? Just mounting panels to support your choice of speaker for the rear (and/or mid area) of the roof. Its a nice solid mount, I use them on my cab model so that it doesn't sag my headliner. I have 6.5" Infinity marine speakers with an Infinity PRV250 radio and it sounds decent enough.
  12. As stated above, check continuity on the ground wire from the under dash buss bar. Could be a loose or broken ground wire.
  13. If you haven't already, get the metal bed hinges. Otherwise, you'll rip the bed right off when using the winch (or someone slams into you) and the plastic ones fail.
  14. Just throwing ideas out, but did you wrap up the wire ends from the winch? Did they touch and arc at all during uninstall? Have you tried unhooking the battery for 30 minutes then re-hooking it up? Might be worth getting the battery tested. I've read that the PPS Fault is usually from a dead battery issue.
  15. I see most guys locate the sub under the seats. Pretty much only option really. Either that or an audio roof I guess.
  16. The popular ones were GS Power ones for Jeeps. Most cut the roof corners to allow the bracket to be high enough to clear the windshield and wiper. I went with a 50" straight lightbar and the GS brackets, but modified the brackets to keep the light below the roof and just back enough that the wiper arm doesn't hit it. https://www.amazon.com/GS-Power-Windshield-Compatible-1984-2001/dp/B01DQMH1S2/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=gs+light+bar+brackets+jeep&qid=1627925546&sr=8-5
  17. Brett - I used the ones Jamie Connelly (C-Werks) sells. Easy as can be to install.
  18. Are you using the front plastic headliner? If so, yes, I had to cut slightly outside the pre-marked circle for 6.5" speakers.
  19. The wiper is very nice to have. Especially on rainy/muddy days and even in some snowy conditions. My next move is installing my GMRS radio, rock lights and cobbling together my plow blade angling system.
