  1. Anything change or happen before this started? Add something, fix something, go through mud or water puddle? Does it flat out cut off like you shut it off? or does it sputter and die? Not really enough info to diagnose.
  2. What the f- is up with these things? Seriously, if they weren't already basically mini-trucks, they are now. If you need heat/AC and the HP of a small 4-cylinder motor, might be time to look at a small pickup. At what point do we decide its just too much?
  3. Ground Clearance and Horsepower are the main ones.
  4. Bracket lift might get you where the XMR is normally as I believe the HD9's sit lower than the HD10's/XMRs. Not exactly sure of the length difference between the HD9 shocks and the XMR ones. Might be something to ask around about to see what would work. Brackets would be cheaper, but possibly better performance out of the XMR shocks.
  5. OEM Wide flares on mine, you get used to the look of the rear with wide flares. In a way, I think it looks better than wide in front and sport flares in the back.
  6. Never did anything special with it once I bought it. Just drove it. 2000+ miles later, no issues. Did first oil change at 1000 miles, no filings or chunks, fairly clean oil.
  7. On my '19 HD10, there is a spot just behind the center power cubby that you have pictured, that's where the main harness comes through the front wall.
  8. It sounds like a failing safety switch. I know on my '19 that sometimes when put it in Park, it doesn't always settle in so I have to use the brake or rock the machine forward and backward until it 'clicks' into Park.
  9. First thing to check is for vacuum in the gas tank. Next time it won't start, open the gas cap then try. If it starts like normal, then that means one of the check valves on the vent lines for the gas tank is bad (or the line has something plugging it) and not allowing air in as gas is pumped out.
  10. Agreeing with VagabondMatt. I think you conflated your numbers, i.e. Diameter vs. Radius. In your example, you are adding that 2.25" to the overall diameter, when in fact that 2.25" is the additional radius, so technically the 2.25" increase in radius should be doubled (making it 4.5") before adding it to the overall diameter, which would make it 31.5" tire size. Which means, you could conceivably put 31" tires on, but I wouldn't as you need to give enough space for tire flex from heat and load carried. 1/2" isn't enough considering that only gives each tire a 1/4" increase to its radius (1/2" overall diameter).
  11. Pretty sure the frames are standardized across the models, built to be modular. Doubt there is any frame difference in a HD7 or HD9 or HD10, just differences in what's bolted on to them. Places like SuperATV, won't commit to saying their stuff works on a model they didn't test it on due to liability reasons.
  12. My 2019 HD10 Max cab has a factory Ground clearance of 12". I put on the S3 HD springs and run 30" tires just fine, S3 springs eat up about an 1" to 1-1/2" of suspension sag. Model year 2023 Max XT HD9 has a GC of 11" and the HD10 Max Xt has a GC of 13".
  13. Yes, it would be the switch. I've had that issue. Randomly it wouldn't activate the high beams.
  14. Do you have anything wired in that monitors the voltage?
  15. Currently, running a Bison Bumper for the front, nothing yet for the rear. Kinda like the Rough Country design, but hate the prices on them. Being a metal fabricator myself, and knowing how some of these are made, I'm very critical of the asking prices on a ton of stuff made for these machines.
  16. Look at the part numbers. I'd say be careful 2019 and prior model years going onto 2020+ model years, as the engine is a different part number (mainly due to the extra mounts and stuff for the AC system). My understanding is the trans cases are all the same between models, just different internals for XMR vs the rest.
  17. How much gap do you have between the glass and the dashboard? I would have to think something isn't sitting properly.
  18. I don't have them yet, but Rotopax is the way to go. Great mount options, different sizes and uses, etc.
  19. All bumpers for Defenders mount to the bottom of the bed and tilt with it. Otherwise the bumper would have to sit really low and mount to the frame to accommodate the bed tilt.
  20. This one. Think I ordered it from some parts site or amazon, was a bit cheaper (but that was three/four years ago). https://www.seizmik.com/product/utv-side-view-mirror-pair-abs-profit-profiled/
  21. If you have the Arched a-arms, then putting S3 springs on should do just fine for 30" on stock rims. It's what I am running.
  22. Go a link? I just have mine wired to a regular led bar switch, so lose out on the DRLs.
  23. I can't say that I've seen that any where on my machine. I'd check around the engine and trans/diff. Looks to me to be some sort of threaded hole protector.
  24. Never seen insulation in the belt cover of mine (2019 Max XT)
  25. I second partszilla.com, even if just to get part numbers to call and order from dealership. I usually check both just to see prices and availability. Several times my local dealer was able to get it cheaper and/or had it on hand vs. having to order in.
