  1. First off.... Welcome to the forum!! I haul mine open trailer... over 2500 miles... no issues.. Full OEM cab... 2019 HD10 (heated EVERYTHING, stereo,gps....) picked it up last October late and have over 1000 miles on it... LOVING IT!!! Don't see an issue with a front windshield to block for it.... And CONGRATS on the best rig out there!!!
  2. Just took a piece of sheet metal and cut a piece large enough for what I wanted plus a tab upward to mount it to the back side of the bumper with two self tapping screws... Hope this helps. As for a light? You could get a plate light from most any auto parts house and mount it..... Hold on.... revamp on sheet metal... if you add say 4" above the plate you need to show and bend it at a 90* angle 1.25" above the plate. You will end up with 1.5" +/- to mount the plate light to.
  3. Welcome to the forum. Have you looked at www.superatv.com ? I have a 19 and will be getting their deluxe kit. I'll let you know how it goes. As for a plate bracket/light. While I haven't added a light to it, I will go take a picture of what I did.
  4. Because I thought they sent me the wrong wrench at first.... SLIPPED LIKE MARIO ON A BANANNA PEEL.... but with a little help, they actually worked. But I am a 2019
  5. Well, Lily had puppies 1/30. Such cute lil ones... long haired mini Dachshunds
  6. I lock mine during transport. Not just for transport. But for security.... GPS... STEREO... And any other thing I've packed in the cab. Gives me sense of security when I stop at rest areas and such. Although mine are OEM full doors...
  7. OH HELL NO!!! Not so sure I'd play that!! Good luck!! And WELCOME!!
  8. Well however.... WELCOME TO THE FORUM!!!
  9. YOU WILL BE HAPPY!!! I have a 2019 Defender cab. With heat and power windows. I've added all sorts of accessories as well. But where my 19 lacks, your 20 has an UPGRADED rotor/stator set that puts out 850 amps vs. the 550 in the 19... I have to do a little power management or I start losing power. Best fix.... S-can the OEM light and go with LEDs.... A couple other things I did was add door switches so the dome light comes on when doors open. Then had to add a mini switch so it could be live while doors are closed. I also got some 1/2" foam and covered the rear wall of the cab. (Two layers) as well as a thin rubber door mat 3'x5' cut to be a floor mat. It helps keep the heat in, as well as noise out. I also got some sticky door insulation and ran another bead around the doors and window seals as well as other small gaps between frame and body parts.... WAY HAPPY NOW!!! I bought it in late September and I've already got over 1010 miles on him with 149 hours. Only issue I had was a faulty passenger window switch. ENJOY YER NEW TOY!!!
  10. Well, after swapping my rears to the front, the stock rears WILL NOT work as fronts. The inner offset is to great. If the suspension drops.... the wheel will rub on the A-arms... So that said, I'll be going with an 8" wheel with a 5+3 offset. I'm also going with a set of 5 so I have a full size spare.
  11. As for adjusting preload, jack the rig up and let the wheels hang. Adjusting then is a breeze. As for adding pictures.... below text box is a paperclip and hotspot that allows you to choose file to upload. Hope that helps
  12. @Toolboy what size wheels? 10" 5x5's? I'm actually thinking about Super ATV's AT Warriors in a 32x10x14 on stock rear wheels all the way around. I've never popped a bead while wheelin' in any of my rigs even taking my pressure down to 5lbs. I'm going to swap my rears to the front, turn them to stop and wrap a piece of 3" foam around the back tire and see what type of clearance I have.... figuring this will simulate a 33" tire.... We'll see
  13. Well Mark, That's awesome to hear. But I find it SAD your beast doesn't get to play more. I bought my 2019 in late October and it went in for service Friday for his first service at 1010 miles. I've done quite a bit modifications to him (heated seats/wheel/grab bar, second winch, 104" of LEDs 4x8" 2x14" 2x22", stereo, gps.....) and have had NO real issues other than a faulty window switch. One thing that I've had to adapt to, is NOT using my stock lights versus the LEDs I've added instead. Otherwise I run into charging issues. So..... I RARELY use them, besides, the LEDs are MUCH CRISPER!!! I think one of the best additions was the door switch that activates the dome light... much better than fumbling in the dark... All in all, ENJOY YOUR NEW DEFENDER!!!
  14. I also had a switch go bad. It was the passenger window and had to buy it because my local dealer is BS!!!! As for the speed of the windows? I think a big portion of the problem is the power being generated by the stator especially at or near idle. Try revving up the motor and see if that increases the speed of the window.
  15. Pretty much a lil tug gets them out. Possibly a lift up in order. Watch the panel when pulling and you'll most likely see the tabs that hold it in....
  16. Not positive, but considering you stated a BASE UNIT..... I would figure they would go to upgrades such as winch, lights, heater, etc.... but I'm not sure... I know my 2019 had a few of these open pig tails.... But I bought a full cab with heat.....
  17. That's CRAZY!!! For a first service? Not sure what Bears hours are. But he went in for his first service yesterday with 1010.0 miles on him. Even that was too long for a FIRST SERVICE, IMO.... He's also getting the diffs drained and changed.... After that, he should be good to go for another couple thousand miles....
  18. What was wrong with the canam under seat box? That's what I put my roadies in. Couple of waters, couple monsters, and a couple Pepsi for my partner in crime.... sure it goes through ice.... but you were looking for an AC....
  19. @Toolboy and these are on a stock height rig. ( no lift) because I've put a battle armor 2" lift on mine so I'd think they'd fit Bear perfectly. Problem is, I'm looking for a set of dots
  20. 32's? Any rubbing at all? What is your shock preload setting? Did you stay 9" up front and 11" in the rear? Dot tires?
  21. No issues here!!! 2019 HD10 full cab. My stator draw is MAXED OUT. But with a little amperage management it's under control!! Got Bear in Mid October. He's got 1000+ miles on him now and LOVING IT!!!! Going for a clutch kit and 30's
  22. I have definitely put him through the test!! I'm really looking to put some 30"ers on him, a clutch kit, and putting the stock poly skid plates UNDER (to the ground side) the aluminum skids I put on. Giving up some weight for the GLIDE..... of the poly vs. the STICKY ALUMINUM. OH..... I almost forgot. A real winch for the back!!!! The game hauler winch AIN'T DESIGNED for what we made her do..... DAMN I LOVE MY "BEAR"!!!! Cant wait for turkey season..... A heater..... the bed for decoys..... GET ME SOME!!!! Taking my partner in crimes 13yr old daughter for her first hunts next year... we'll start with turkey. Haven't seen me a Disney film about turkeys yet so I'm hoping we're good!!! Here she is driving Bear... Story was she drove gokarts, just last weekend in fact.... 😄 Truth be told..... she drove the gokarts last Saturday FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!! Not so sure if you smell what I'm steppin' in..... but Bear (a FRESH 1000) compared to a 5 maybe 7.5 hp OMG!!!!! THANK GOD WE ARE STILL ALIVE!!! After a few miles she got it under control and drove quite a bit further than I thought she would.... Cuz when I took over? It was a workout.... SUPER PROUD OF HER!!
  23. It is a new engine thing... crisp edges that get busted off in the beginning. Most drain plugs have a magnet in them so as to pull the shavings to them. As AWESOME as the Canam BRP products are...... THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!!! Had a switch go out within the first month and had to PAY FOR IT MYSELF TO GET ONE THAT WORKED!!! WTF???? A 25K RIG AND YOU DONT WARRANTY ANY OF IT???? SHAME ON YOU CANAM!!!!!
