I should pick it up by weekend. Waiting for them to put it together. Had the Kubota 400 which I traded in. This should be a real upgrade. I got roof and front flip out windshield and they through in a back glass. I will be saving for some doors for winter. They are real pricey. Also think I want a front bumper.
Whats the 3-mode switch for I see on the XT? Is that something that a guy should have? Any other accessory's a guy might need on one of these?

Welcome to the forum, the 3 mode switch is eco, normal and work and changes your throttle response very slightly. I played with mine once for a few minutes and since then its been in normal mode where your machine is now. The 2019 and some earlier models had the wiring behind the dash so you only needed to buy the switch itself, pop it in and connect the wires. Eco is supposed to limit your throttle for maximum fuel economy and work mode slows the throttle input to reduce the jerkiness if you are driving over rough ground. There may be a better explanation of the functions in your operators manual.🙂

Called the dealer tonight to arrange pick up.They say they have 6 bikes ahead of mine and I would need to check back next week Friday. That sucks. Guess that gives me a week to shop for a front bumper and some sort of a gun rack. Thinking about adding blinkers also.

The 2020's have the 3 modes built in already so no need to buy a switch. You can scroll through them on your dash. I actually had to read the owner's manual to find out how LOL. Congrats! I love my HD8.

Now they call and leave a message today that bike still not done. Check back Tuesday. Getting aggravated.

That has to be frustrating.  Any reason why the delay?  Maybe you can get them to throw in some extras (shirt, hat, gear) for the wait!

They said they had an unexpected delay on the build before mine. Tried last week to get them to split a front bumper with me since its taking so long. They wouldn't offer anything.

Looks good! What type of use will it get? You could free up some space by putting that Mustang in my garage....

LOL. Have had that mustang for about 15 years. I better hang on to it. I will use the defender working around the house and during deer and turkey season mostly. Maybe an occasional ride on the back roads.
