  1. Hey guys got some good news on my end, shortly after I got my defender I started looking for tires The tires I wanted that were backorder for about 3 months just showed up! I just got them mounted on my stock rims. Took it for a 4-5 mile ride around town and no more rattle!! Tomorrow I'll get some more miles in it & update you all. Has anyone else changed tires and still have the rattle..vibe?
  2. Dam.,I could go on also but I'm to friggin lazy to type that much lol Sooner or later I'll have to fix it myself, I just don't want to bug an axel if I need a driveshaft...nor do I want to remove the skid plate to remove the driveshaft...
  3. I hear ya...mine has been back to the dealer...was told it was fixed..BS! I bought new so I wouldn't have to wrench for.....awhile. I'm thinking unbalanced driveshaft or axle...
  4. Right frt? Mine is more on the left
  5. Im still dealing with this also, we would have assumed someone had gotten to the fix. It's very annoying & surely gonna get worst over time...
  6. Yeah...$215 for the lights is stiff, how much did you get them for? Any chance a link to the lights?
  7. Very nice...I was wondering if you could buy an amber light for that reason. I can't open your pics on my ph? Was it hard to switch out the LEDs?
  8. I've got the same problem on my 2020 XT1000
  9. You can IM me on FB...Gene Ball

Not sure which one you are.  I am Keith Berry

  10. He said...he changed carrier bearings...
  11. Well got mine back, dealer dropped it off at my house @ 1am in the morning! Not happy it still makes the noise!... I tried...
  12. I had also read I think one guy said it was the pinion preload, bearing something about issues with the way the diffs were assembled.. incorrectly? I did gear changes on jeeps & trucks for years...so I do have a clue. Anything not right in the diff will bite you soon
  13. Not really...dealer still has it. He said he ordered carrier bearings for it which I'm assuming for the frt diff. Needless to say I'm not happy! I've also got an issue with the motor surging...which their trying to tell me is normal BS!
  14. Stay tuned here....mine is back at the dealer now. I hope to hear from them by end of this week.
