Got my defender back yesterday.Seems to be good now.

Not exactly a recall. It is a service bulletin. They told me not all the side by sides have this issue so they didnt do a recall. It is offered but only if you ask about it.

I have same problem of rubbing grinding sound when turning sharp.I went to my dealer after work. He said yes a service bulletin came out last month. He printed the bulletin out for me. Has a spacer,a cotter pin, a clutch kit, a belleville washer,and new fluid. Guess I will take mine in next week to try it on mine.says on the bulletin expires Jan 31 2023 if anyone here needs to get this fix.

What state you in and what dealer was it. Going to take my 2020 in this week for same issue. Anyone else had this fixed?

I have noticed a high pitch metallic sound when driving my 2020 Defender HD8. Hard to explain but when driving its kinda mixed in with the normal transmission sound. I can hear a high pitch whining sound also. Anyone here experience this?

Hello everyone. I have a couple questions about my Defender. I bought it last August and haven't used it much and always garaged. It has always had a clunking sound when going slow. Like slack someplace in drive line. Only notice is going slow on uneven ground. Now I have some kind of rubbing in steering shaft when turning wheel. It does in when running or not running. Sounds like coming from under dash some place. I also was suppose to get a two year warranty when I bought the bike but have never received anything in mail showing this. Should I have received something telling me this? Anyone here had these same issues?

I have a 2020 Defender HD8 and am wanting to put a blinker kit that wont break the bank. What do you guys suggest for a brand? Have any of you guys put a signal kit on yours? Would like one that is plug and play to use my tail lights.

I bought my 2020 Defender a few weeks ago but havnt drove it much. Stays in garage. Had 3 miles on it when I got it and I think it has 9 or 12 miles now from going to town and back. My son was sitting on passenger side yesterday and noticed a small piece broken off at the door frame on passenger side.Looks like someone did it on Assy I would assume.Guess Ill haul it back to show them and hope they dont give me any trouble getting a new panel for it. Its the panel with the foot rest on it. Dont want to sound petty but it is a Pretty big panel but for over $16,000 they better replace it. Here is where its broke.What do you guys think?

I have 13 miles on my 2020 and have the same problem. If I dont tilt the front windshield out the cab fills with exhaust.

Never mind. When I pulled out of garage the lock went off.

Just got my Defender HD8 and was playing around with it.It has the 2 or 4 wheel drive toggle switch and it has a differential lock toggle also. I know up turns the differential lock on but nothing changes in the digital gauge cluster. It shows the drive line and when I flip to 4x4 the front tires turn black in the digital read out and go off when I go back to 2 wheel drive but when I flip the differential lock on or off nothing changes. Should one of the wheels in the display turn off when switch is flipped off? Or do they both stay black whether switch is on or off?
