  1. I am sure you are going to love the new ride. I’m also in Ontario. I’ve had mine for a year and still can’t find anything wrong with it. Well aside from the crappy stock lights that is. I am going to try and put a ride together For charity in the Bruce peninsula. (if that’s possible this year ) Not sure of dates or routs yet but would love to get as many defenders out as I could. We have a few in the area. Great for work and play.
  2. Nice video. Your in the hole baby was the best part lol. My buddy also loads onto his truck same as you but he uses his winch to drag it up. Putting a stopper up by the front tires might save your roof from a mistake. Something to consider. Simple 2inch tube welded a foot up would make me feel safer if it was me. Great videos and thanks for sharing.
  3. Built a headache rack for the back nothing fancy but works good plus adds a bit of weight to aid closing empty box. Was t really thinking of the snorkels when I built this so once I get them I will not be able to use this. Or I’ll need to modify it.
  4. Mounted them to the factory door hinge location plus think I could still install doors once I get em. Got a pic of them lit up already on the topic defenders at work. Bright enough to be able to work into the night.
  5. I also did something close to ranger have a look. Turned out great
  6. Anybody got any new feedback. Bringing back this old topic. I’m still running stock but sure do want to upgrade.
  7. My defender work night and day. Lol
  8. I have the factory under hood control and plug for my 2019. Sorry pics aren’t the best but should give you an idea of location. Cheapest can am option I’ve bought so far. If I remember correctly it was around 25 bucks from the dealer. Canadian prices so I’m guessing penny’s for you USA guys. Our parts are so much more then yours.
  9. Always getting more projects then I have time for. This ones going to be a larger trailer to take the defender into moose camp. My 12 foot landscaping trailer is just a tad to small to fit all my gear now that the defender will come with me. My ol Suzuki king quad will be so sad to miss this year.
  10. In Ontario Canada I had a real hard time insuring my hd10. Only one company would touch it and it ain’t cheap. Being a 1000 seemed to be some of the prob. I think I pay more for this defender insurance then my Ram. And that’s not a lol kinda statement.
  11. Yup my dealer put my business name across the dash when first starting up. Was told that it had to be done by the dealer but I’m sure someone has found a way to do it. Be a great anti theft on your machine. Until they swap the gage. Lol
  12. The final thing I’ve done so far I think is made up a cheap back bumper. Nothing great but will do till I get more free time. (Prob winter). I was just looking for a bit of protection nothing to tow or ram from. I made it fit with the tailgate open but forgot to consider the bit of flex that I’d get from weight so after I fought my mistake I had to hammer it down. Lol not what I really wanted to do but she’s good now.
  13. Great fathers day gift from the kids this year a Dixie land horn. Good ol general lee. Didn’t take the kids long to find the button hidden under the seat. Install was pretty easy just making the Horne’s fit was a tad difficult. Wanted to keep em aimed down so water wont get inside. Ended up running 3 frontwards and 2 backwards under the bed behind the driver. Will have to change if I ever put a 2nd batt back there. Works and sounds great.
  14. It’s a 12 inch auxbeam I ordered it from amazon. A friend has used them before with only good things to say. Reviews were also good. Think it was 29 bucks for the 2 4 inch and 39 for the 12 inch one on the front. That’s Canadian also.
  15. This ones pretty self explanatory.
  16. Lights were another must to be added. To be honest I’m pretty disappointed With the lighting on this machine. Both front and high beams and also the lack of a reverse light. For the price this could have been improved. Used some ss to fab up a bracket for the rears. Drilled to fit in the upper door hinge location. I hate to drill holes in a new machine unless it’s an absolute must. Mounted a 12 inch to the xt front bumper. A couple matching toggle switches and fused and pow lights 100% better.
  17. Plans are to have the best work and play unit I can have outa this thing. I’ll try and post new updates and add on stuff I do to the machine along the way. To date I have installed (middle seat gun clamps) I used some thick aluminum plate I had kicking around to make up the bracket and put some spacers into the bottom set of screws to make the clamps sit level. I didn’t like how it was angled down when I mounted it flush to the seat. Also installed front and back windows from can am just the cheap ones that I’m sure to regret later.
  18. Stagebeadt I too am interested in those seat covers. Look like a good fit
  19. I am also looking at putting snorkel kit on my HD10 xt. Just can’t make up my mind. The can am one I think looks the best but at around 800 bucks Canadian sure ain’t the cheapest. Looking for feedback on the highlighter and warrior kits. They are half the price of the can am ones.
