I performed my first service to my 2019 Defender HD8 Max.  But i still get this Don't forget your first Service Light across the screen when i first start up. Y'all know how to remove this. I've tried youtube and other online services to search for clearing this, but there is nothing that works.

From previous Can Am's I've owned, they need to connect a computer to reset the message.  I asked about this and researched this to death...no other way to remove.

Hopefully someone has a better answer.

thegrizz,

Procedure for the 2018 is in the manual.  I don't know if you have the LCD Gauge or the Multi Function Gauge.  Procedures look pretty similar.  Attached is what does it for 2018 model, may work on the 2019

I did the above to reset my maint light and it erased my “live life unlimited” message and gauges do not raise and lower like before

I wonder if that message is something the dealer programmed in there.  I don't have that message on mine.

Yup my dealer put my business  name across the dash when first starting up. Was told that it had to be done by the dealer but I’m sure someone has found a way to do it. Be a great anti theft on your machine. Until they swap the gage. Lol
