Its not the robust one out there but it has steps, allows the bed to dump fully and will hit first if I back into anything. Thats all I was looking for

It looks sweet. It doesn't appear to interfere with the bed. https://ktperformance.net/i-23914688-tough-country-utv-rear-bumper-canam-2016-18-defender-defender-max.html?CATARGETID=120173980000089278&cadevice=c&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIxOKnh4G14QIVwZJbCh1GbAVAEAQYBSABEgIflvD_BwE

Dragoon Posted April 4, 2019 Member ID: 5 Content Count: 283 Reputation: 55 Joined: 11/26/2018 Status: Offline Last Seen: August 28 Share Posted April 4, 2019 I assume the bumper tilts with the bed? If that's the case, it may interfere with the tilting if you have a trailer hitch and ball in the receiver. I currently run about an 8'' receiver extension so that my trailer is easier to hook up and so it doesn't crush the bed on the Defender when I turn tight or jackknife the trailer when trying to back it into tight spaces. Whenever I use the tilt bed the tailgate hits the ball on the hitch and doesn't fully tilt. I removed the hitch extension so I could get full tilt and I noticed that the tailgate still hits the ball slightly. Just something to keep in mind if you are thinking about getting a bumper, but you run a trailer hitch on your Defender.

I have I think I have less than $90 in steel, lights, and lighted license plate. I still need to add a trim piece above bumper to fill the gap.

As a result, every bumper I've seen would limit my bed dump ability. I think someone should come up with a narrow (between the tires) version with a winch...Would pay $$$. That taper on the ends is a lot of extra work but makes it look custom. You must also have something in mind for that small lighted license plate spot. I didn’t get my license plate numbers back from WI DNR yet. If you ride on road or trails in WI you need a plate and in SD it needs to be lighted. The license plate kit was from Corbin Custom Works (same place I got the blinker and horn kit).

It does not hamper the dump box opening fully as long as the Tiger Tail is removed from the receiver. Edited April 13, 2019 by Iceman11
