was going to change most of the zeyrks out to 90's or 45's so a guy could get the grease gun on them without fighting them or taking the tires off, but the standard 1/4 inch zerks i bought don't seem to want to screw in at all. Am i missing something here or are they some buy-motley zerk the local farm store doesn't sell??

Since the defender is designed in Canada and assembled in Mexico, I suspect that the zerks are metric. Someone on another forum suggested they were 6 mm which makes sense, slightly smaller than the 1/4" you bought. 🙂
