New HD8 XT

Waiting for my Defender to be delivered to my dealer, what should I be looking at or for when inspecting the unit. Also what should be some of the first upgrades or must haves. I will be mostly using it for camp work, hunting and mild trail riding. Thanks.

I am also waiting for my Defender XT hd8. Im just hoping that this COVID business doesn’t prolong the actual date it’s supposed to be here😞 Will be my first side by side, looking forward to hitting the trails here in north central MN with my wife😁😁

Have now had mine for about two weeks, also my first and really happy so far. Waiting on fender flares to arrive and have installed light bar and rear light pods.

Just made this for my new defender that I’m still waiting for. Am waiting to have it powder coated until I figure out where I’m going to put the mounts. I think it turned out pretty good. Used 1/2” aluminum and 3/4” for the shackle mounts

One of the first items i added were two 50 inch light bars on front and back. I used the small SXS Ap5 power pack out of cananda  that replaced 5 wiring harness's, fuses and relays for accessories on the Defender.

The one power pack allows you to hook up to 7 accessories or replaces 7 wiring harnesses, fuses and relays.  Heck of a deal!

I needed light when I was backing the can am out of the trailer at night as well as just backing the trailer in the dark of night so I put the 50 incher light bar on back of the can am. Now I cover a great deal of space with light when I back up the trailer.
