2020 quieter than 2019? How?

I'd like to see what they did, to make the 2020 quieter, so I can do it to my 2019.

I am not sure but on one of the BRP videos they mention more and better sound insulation, that is the the shiny stuff that we see. I suspect they closed in more of the open areas and used a thicker or better insulation material to reduce the sound and heat transfer? The only way to tell would be to compare the insulation part numbers or do a side by side comparison with the 2020.🤔

Yes, I noticed the shiny material behind the seats, as well. I might try to find some and see if I can make it fit.

I would guess that it's similar to the stuff that the automotive industry uses, sometimes referred to as sound insulation blankets sold in rolls?

Completely new exhaust system ...and I belive different heads that's where the 10 hp comes from and a slight change in tune

All I know is that the first thing my wife said about our XT Cab was, "Darn - it's so loud in here!"  If you step out side, the machine (an HD10) just purrs - but it's a full cacophony in the cab.  Drop the plow and you need ear phones!  Still love it though.
