Just bought the standard radio kit and mounted it up high so it would never be submerged, but if you never drive through deep water you could mount it anywhere. It came programmed with a bunch of stuff from rugged. I have 2 radios so I only used what was in them to comm between the 2. Weatherman was the one I used a bunch.
