Alright, so I noticed the other night after a 20 minute ride that something around the muffler seemed to be glowing. I lifted the bed and noticed that around the o2 sensor it was cherry red. Upon further inspection, it seemed like the pipe underneath the heatshield was all cherry red. It wasn't real bright, but a dull cherry glow to it. I'm not much of a mechanic, so was hoping someone could tell me if this is normal? Or do I have a problem? I have attached a picture of where it was hot. Like i said, it was red around that sensor, and underneath the heatshield.

If the engine is running normally and no codes than you are probably good to go?🙂

Due to the engines being programmed to run lean and the emissions stuff.
