I was tinkering with my defender trying to incorporate a cooler to one day possibly make a "redneck air conditioner" in the cab and came across this little discovery.  If you remove the middle seat cushion, a yeti roadie 20 cooler that measures about 14" wide, 19" long and 15" wide fits perfectly on the frame of the middle seat.  Just have to pull the handle off of the cooler.  It even makes a better arm rest.

Not really important.  Just thought I'd share.

What was wrong with the canam under seat box? That's what I put my roadies in. Couple of waters, couple monsters, and a couple Pepsi for my partner in crime.... sure it goes through ice.... but you were looking for an AC....

I was going for the A/C in hopes to keep the doors on during a few trail rides in July and August so I can keep the inside of the cab cleaner.

I don’t really want to put the bigger flares on because some of the trails are very tight and I might not fit.
