I purchased a bottle jack capable of up to 12.75" of lift.  However, after jacking up the Defender to the maximum on the jack, I realized this wasn't anywhere close to the amount of clearance needed to remove the wheel.  I ended up having to stack (3) 2x4's on top of the jack to get it up high enough to get the wheel off and back on.

I'd appreciate any recommendations on what others have used to lift your Defenders high enough to remove the wheel?  Thank you in advance!

Get a Floor jack at least 1.5ton lift cap. if you need more height just add a block or two. Harbor Freight and NAPA run sales all the time. You can find them under $100 buck around this time of the year.

Never trust a bottle jack to work on an UTV just not stabile enough.
