  1. Well done! and a nice write up. Please give and update on hoe the gear oil addition works out.
  2. Hi have a 6ft Western straight on my 19 HD10. I went with due to having tracks and V would be hitting the tracks. It still moves an impressive amount of snow...... Speaking of Snow I have to plow again in a couple of minutes
  3. Tug Hill, I am hoping you can help me.  I just installed the apache tracks on my defender.  I also have the Western Plow.  The tracks, when turning, will hit the plow mount.  Did you have a special bracket or spacers made?  Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you,

    sean

  4. Here's the &12.00 replacement switch from Spemco p/n VLD1G66B. There will be a plastic pin which need to get cut off. Other then that they wok great. I ordered 3 more this morning before i posted this!
  5. The bearings are sealed on LT bogie wheels.
  6. 19" HD10 and can do 100 miles with no problems. A coupled of stops and a walk about and it's all good.
  7. I think your confused, this is Can-Am Defender site(UTV's). not a Land Rover Defender forum.
  8. Give the folks at EPI a call and tell them what your planning. They'll get you set up correctly.
  9. Here ya go the parts on the floor are adapters and go on the frame, they just pin on. But they rattle without the mold board and pump installed.
  10. No, it mounts on the lower frame and the pump stays on the plow head/ frame when unhooked. Just the electrical plug on the front when not using plow.
  11. So their not as EZ to change out as they make it sound. It takes me about 3 hours to do a swap out, mostly because I'm working alone and I'm nuts about torqueing and alignment. Also how much mud? These things are heavy to say the least. I only run the Pre-filter on mine in DEEP snow with zero issues. Good luck with what ever you do.
  12. Just thinking a, Sled Deck type bed on the p/u and haul the camper. They have them that will load up a Defender.
  13. They won't, I run mine fairly hard between plowing Lake Effect snow and working the woods it wears but never been torn up.
