After reading the owner’s manual, it recommends 87 - 93 grade fuel with 10% ethanol. Did I mess up? Thanks in advance for your advice.

It seems to be a lot better if anything sits for a period of time. I believe when ethanol fuel evaporates it leaves a residue.
