Was hoping someone had figured out if there's a way to open up the center dash area to get easier access to the wiring and toggle switches. Trying to wire in a switch for my front LED light bar but being older and not as agile as I once was, it's difficult to stand on my head to get under there. If so and available, pictures would do wonders.

Thanks in advance.

Okay, after further inspection and yes with the putty knife at least on the passenger side, I was able to get the tabs to pop out. I hope this thread will help others as I have been trying to figure this out for over a week.🙂

Now I can run my front LED light bar via the unused wires under the front hood to the same colored bundled wires located next to the power indicated in the photo.. Thanks for all the input, it's really appreciated!

The panel where the switches are located, (and key switch) will pop out.
putty knife from the top will push tabs in, and then it pops out.
bus bar is right there, ready to be used

No putty required. Should be able to apply pressure downward and then roll the bottom tabs out... pretty easy really. Plastic is pretty pliable so breaking a tab is pretty tough... Bear's dash has been in and out MULTIPLE TIMES...

Good luck,

Joe and Bear

Applied pretty good pressure and trying to pull it out but not having much luck. Just to confirm, that procedure is good for the 2021 limited?

Thanks!
