I listened to the cooling fan up front but it was not the source of noise. The dash temperature gauge never showed temperatures above (91-92 degrees) in fact was mostly in the mid to high 80's Celsius. I'm wondering what this noise could be? a secondary cooling fan for the CVT maybe?

I let the air out if the gas tank and it went away. But would eventually come back.

There are a couple things to try. I've not had the issue, but others have. There are a couple threads here that address the issue. Next time it happens, loosen your gas cap and see if it stops... Good luck

Gets worse when hot.
