    I have a 2017 Defender Max HD8. With a gauge that only has one button: 1.Turn Key to ON position (do not start) 2. Set the gauge to Odometer with total mileage 3. Hold Select Button down 4. While holding the Select Button down, flip the headlights from dim to bright 3 times within 5 seconds. 5. Release Select Button. Turn Key off and wait for gauge to go black. Turn key back on and the maintenance required message should be cleared. Hope this helps someone.
