  1. Does anyone have an idea what the fuel range is traveling over an ice road at normal speeds? Can I get 35-40 miles on a tank of fuel?
  2. Yes, I personally gave the Boss's engineer the specs, pictures, and the offsets that they needed to change... That change Im sure occured last spring sometime. They couldn't supply me the revised parts in time because of what they called "testing". I had to make my own to be able to plow since I wasn't going to wait around. Lowering it was required as well so I'm glad I did. I ran my plow setup with the stock springs at max last year. This year I went with the heavier springs and its much nicer now. The front dont drop 3+" when you lift it anymore The plow is HEAVY I wouldnt even want to run stock tires with it myself. When you have it all the way in scoop mode vrs V mode the mounting height comes into play.
  3. I had to make custom brackets for the plow myself. Boss would not supply me any brackets in time for the plowing season. Their design team told me they had no fix for it and it would be months before they would have a solution. = shitty! With the 30" tires and KM3 springs you will need to push the plow forward approx 2" and lower it approx 2". If you dont lower it the pitch of the plow doesn't work correctly when you angle the plow in and out. The same effect would occur with any v plow setup if you ran it with tracks. Otherwise I love the plow, and it functions great. If you can afford a v plow I would suggest not going with a straight blade. You can plow faster and push the snow easier with the V.
  4. Bad Daddy Can you post some pics showing the brackets and spring locations of the final install. I'm sure that I will have some questions myself later this week when I install my setup. The instructions suck...
  5. You will need 90" if you ever get tracks.
  6. I don't have a winch "remote cable". The unit I installed (noted above) is wireless and only needs to be hooked up to the stock winch control located under the front hood. No wires pass thru the firewall. I run a Garmin BC 40 wireless unit hooked up to a Garmin 7" Smart Drive. I use this same GPS on my snowmobile and my SXS for ice fishing and trail riding. I have another post that has some pictures of the setup.
  7. No problem, this feature, my backup light, and rear camera have been my most used upgrades so far.
  8. Time delay? It hasn't been an issue that has been noticeable to me. I just know that the location of the stock rocker switch is not user friendly while standing in front of the machine. I dont have to free spool the cable anymore with the remote.
  9. Mine has worked great so far. I can pull the winch cable out to the end of its travel and just hit the button. I have used the larger remote only so far and store them both in the glove box when not in use. Just make sure to switch it off when done.
  10. Here are some pictures. I have a fair amount of stuff going on in there with the track module and my Boss V plow relay and power hookups. Run the the black and red wires to the + and - Run the (2) other colors to the locations shown, if the winch reels in backwards flip flop those (2) wires around and it will correct itself Goodluck!
  11. I have a 2020 HD10 cab with the same front panel set up as you. I installed this and it works great. I have it powered all of the time since there is not an keyed accessories wire in that front box area. I can send you a picture. It's pretty simple, just hook it up to the 3 wire relay on the left side. Cords no more... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07P2G4T22/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_46heEb197C0QA
  12. The tires are 30" x 10 " BFG KM3's. I like them so far, they are much quieter and produce less vibration than the stock ones. I only have 50 miles on the machine so time will tell.
  13. FYI - Well I spent all day installing the 78" Boss V plow today only to discover the during the final step that the bitch dont fit with the 2020 redesigned Can Am front bumpers. It hits the bumper prior to getting to the top pin location when you push the carriage back. I had called Boss a few weeks back to verify if everthing would fit and they said that it would work fine. I'm pissed that I either have to wait for a fix from them or weld up a 1" extension to make it clear ok. Snows a coming... I will be calling Boss first thing Monday am
