  1. @Tomiko Don, I have same question as @XMRManiac. Did you have a lift or is your suspension setup completely stock? I'm looking at same tires, but wasn't sure about rub on my stock setup or about the extra weight being issue for front differential (mine is completely stock)? Now that this post has some age maybe you could tell us if you ran into any issue mechanically?? Thanks.
  2. Hello. Have 2019 Defender HD10 X-MR. I was upgrading primary and secondary clutch springs and rollers (2ndary only) with EPI spring/rollers, when I broke the Spring Cover (primary) during disassembly. See pictures. It was a PITA when hammering epi puller tool, but it FINALLY came apart. Thats when I notice the inside ledge of the spring cover broke clean off. When I went to purchase replacement spring cover I could not find the copper or brass ring that was on the inside edge/lip of my spring cover? Is this something not needed anymore? I don't see it on the parts diagram either. Also their is not plastic race that the spring rests on inside of the Spring Cover, so its metal on metal. That also sound right?
  3. determined that the "sleeve" that was stuck on the inside of the "Cover" was not the Bearing Sleeve (spring retainer). I have no clue as to what the copper colored sleeve is that is stuck on inside ledge of the Cover (broken pc in pictures). It's not shown in the part diagram. I replaced the cover and assembled. There was no guide or cradle for the spring to sit in inside of the cover. Just looked like the spring rest on the inside of the Cover, metal on metal (unlike the secondary clutch which has plastic pieces that the spring rest on). Anyone seen this before? Am I missing parts? TIA
  4. I am installing same EPI kit. When separating the primary clutch per the instructions it would hardly budge, but when it did finally come apart I noticed the flange on the inside of Bearing Cover (#19 in diagram) broke off. It looks like #22 Bearing Sleeve was stuck and the whole assembly was jammed up during disassembly. It was a @#%$ but new parts are ordered. Anyone else have this problem?
  5. Was disassembling primary clutch to install EPI Clutch Spring Kit and during the separation step it would not budge. Kept hammering the puller to separate the two halves and it finally came apart. That's when I found the flange on inside of bearing cover had broken off, which I assume was while I was hammering. Has anyone else seen this? I'll upload photo's when I get home. It looks as though the Spring Retainer #22 got stuck inside the Bearing Cover #19 lip / flange. I've did this once before on my 2018 model and didn't have this problem.
