Hi have a 6ft Western straight on my 19 HD10. I went with due to having tracks and V would be hitting the tracks. It still moves an impressive amount of snow...... Speaking of Snow I have to plow again in a couple of minutes

Here's the &12.00 replacement switch from Spemco p/n VLD1G66B. There will be a plastic pin which need to get cut off. Other then that they wok great.

The bearings are sealed on LT bogie wheels.

Coolant lines run under there

19" HD10 and can do 100 miles with no problems. A coupled of stops and a walk about and it's all good.

Hey All,
New to the forum and registered to hopefully get your opinions. I own a 8 month old defender 2020. This morning went to a meeting in another town and the car was working fine. When I got back and unlocked it I found out that the panel with the ac regulator was dead. Nothing was working. No lights on any of the knobs and buttons. Furthermore, the windows wouldn't work either, neither up or down. The central panel and the dash board were fine.
I drove it in the blistering heat to the dealer, who at first thought it was a blown fuse, but they checked in my presence and the fuses were alright. They gave me a small Renault as a replacement and put my car on diagnostics but haven't heard back.
Anyone had this issue before?
I think your confused, this is Can-Am Defender site(UTV's). not a Land Rover Defender forum.

Give the folks at EPI a call and tell them what your planning. They'll get you set up correctly.

Must you remove the factory winch to use the western plow?
No, it mounts on the lower frame and the pump stays on the plow head/ frame when unhooked. Just the electrical plug on the front when not using plow.

So their not as EZ to change out as they make it sound. It takes me about 3 hours to do a swap out, mostly because I'm working alone and I'm nuts about torqueing and alignment. Also how much mud? These things are heavy to say the least.
I only run the Pre-filter on mine in DEEP snow with zero issues.
Good luck with what ever you do.

Just thinking a, Sled Deck type bed on the p/u and haul the camper. They have them that will load up a Defender.

I use the OEM for the Maverick.

They won't, I run mine fairly hard between plowing Lake Effect snow and working the woods it wears but never been torn up.

I just ordered a EPI Sport kit for my HD10. they recommended it for the Tracks and the riding i do. Back ordered till the end of Apr.
Also when doing the Spring inspection I found the belt worn about 0.10" and secondary clutch helix wearing on the roller edges so the whole thing will get changed out..... Hopefully before Turkey season up here.😊

You'll be good, I ran 75 Miles this weekend in Snow/Dirt (SNIRT) and used about 3/4 of a tank.

I plowed out a Well Drilling rig on one of my property's last year with the HD10 and LT's with over 3ft of lake effect snow and couldn't get it stuck if I tried. It was a about a1/2 mile of off-road/ no road bed just through a pasture up to the new home site.

My 19' died into the first ride at about 20 miles. Both battery connections were lose, tightened up and zero problems since going on 1900 miles!

Are you using a BRP belt or after market? Some after-market belt may not fit as well as the OEM. To season a belt, run the machine for 20 or so miles with slow starts and vary the speed don't Hammer it during the break-in. Check that the sheave's are clean and no grooves in them. If dirty clean with soap and water and light scrubbing with a Scotch-brite pad.

I found Partzilla is about 10% to 20% lower on OEM parts and after a $ amount its Free shipping. Aftermarket I don't know, why would you need to mod these machines. It does' anything I task it with , Plowing snow, Track system, Hauling wood, broken down sleds-4wheelers, and a small car lost following Google maps..... They were A Dumb Ass!
It just about the perfect ORV and I've owned a bunch of them.

From past experience, always buy bigger then you think when it comes to trailers. Used to haul my snowmobiles and wheelers and never had enough room, be it gear or equipment.
Boy i'm glad those days are over.
