I usually build my snorkeled but can am has the cvt exhaust cooling the muffler, is this necessary? I see two kits online one that also cools the exhaust and one that bypasses it any thoughts?

I can't tell if their kit links to the muffler or not??? https://www.highlifter.com/high-lifter-snorkel-kits/high-lifter-riser-snorkel-can-am-defender-snork-c1d.asp
