I have a can am defender that will turn over but will not crank. Checked spark plugs fuel and grounds and replaced battery. When I hit the key it will only get up to 250 rpm’s. When the battery cables are on it, it will get up to 500 rpm’s but takes a many times pressing accelerator and letting off while cranking to get it to crank and some days I try it will not crank at all. Crankshaft position sensor has been changed so I’m leaning more to starter or starter solenoid but I am lost.
