Guys & Gals,

I am a new Can Am owner and I want to do some mods. Has anyone tried the HF badlands winches on their Can Am? I cant see spending the $$$ on a Warn when I might use it like once a year. I would also like to do a speaker set up in my unit without breaking the bank. Also suggestions on front bumpers? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

there are quite a few people on facebook that use the badlands winches with decent luck.

bumpers, lots of those around.  i like the one that came on my xt, it does what i need.  has plenty of holes in it for lights, etc. as well.  i have 2 pods in the middle of mine and plenty of room for other lights as well.

cant help on the radio

I run a marine Infinity radio and 6.5" speakers. Decent enough sound for plowing and out riding around. I don't need a thumping car or home stereo system. Spent $500 or so.

Bandlands will probably get you by just fine.

I run a Bison bumper on mine and like it.

Steelslinger how did you mount the speakers? Do you have yours all running to the same battery?

Front ones are mounted in the upper plastic header panel. Rear ones are mounted using C-Werks (Jamie Connelly on here and Facebook) speaker panels. Uses the screw mounts in the OEM roof that the OEM system uses. Fits perfect with the headliner.

I don’t have a headliner. I installed a badlands winch with no luck. I believe the solenoid was bad as it got crazy hot. I returned that item and I will buy a direct install winch from Super Atv.
