I have a defender with a aftermarket heater that the previous owner installed, and when driving normally the temp is about at 180-190 then as soon as you start going slow or let it just idle it heats up to about 220 which seems pretty high. the fan does come on at around 205 but doesn't seem to make much difference.I tried bleeding the system by loosening the little 8mm bolts, and had fluid spraying out immediately not sure what that mean, but someone said if it does that coolant isn't circulating. which doesn't make sense since if your driving hard it stays under 200. also the heater puts out hot air when idling and the radiator fan isn't even blowing hot air! So not sure what's up any suggestion would be extremely helpful. Josh
