I just was servicing my Max limited and both sides had slop in the upper front control arm bushing area. I purchased new bushings and just took it apart to replace them. The bushings aren't bad but the bolt has elongated the mounting hole in the frame on both sides. About 2,500 miles on the unit. Is this normal? Only fix I can see is make some thick washers that are very tight on the bolt and weld to the frame. The frame material should have been reinforced in this area to keep this from happening. I am sure I can't be the only one with this issue. Hoping someone has an easier fix.
