I want to to mount it so it does not stick up above the roof (I have a half windshield). I have seen some mounted so the top of the ight bar is about as high as the roof and they had a lift UP front windshield. However I do not know what brackets they used. Anyone on here have this setup or can share info on the brackets I need?

Most cut the roof corners to allow the bracket to be high enough to clear the windshield and wiper. I went with a 50" straight lightbar and the GS brackets, but modified the brackets to keep the light below the roof and just back enough that the wiper arm doesn't hit it. https://www.amazon.com/GS-Power-Windshield-Compatible-1984-2001/dp/B01DQMH1S2/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=gs+light+bar+brackets+jeep&qid=1627925546&sr=8-5 Edited August 2, 2021 by Steelslinger

I just bought the 50" Rough Country Curved light bar, and have been looking for brackets that will work.
