  1. It is only a slide on spline joint, nothing holds it on. Must be dried grease or mud holding it. It should pry off no problem. And you don't need to unbolt the front diff. If you pull the shaft off the front first, then run it up alongside the diff as you pry the rear forwards till its clear, then run the rear backwards alongside the transmission, the front will then clear and you can drop the shaft out.
  2. Can you run 32" tyres with a 2" lift but without putting in forward A-Arms?
  3. Depends on the model. You can get the driveshaft off HD8s without loosening the diff. They usually develop play in the spline between the universal joint and the input shaft, but you can often eliminate it by running a cut off disc thru the clamp slot and tightening the bolt.
  4. This is a link to the A Arms I'm looking at if that helps.? https://www.highlifter.com/high-lifter-mc-control-arm-kit/mcffa-c1d-8.asp
  5. Going to fit 32" Maxxzilla Plus tyres to my 2018 HD8. I've already done a 2" lift and fitted 2" wheel spacers all round. Do you think I need the forward shifting A Arms and if so, are the Hi Lifter MCFFA-C1D-B arms giing to work? Thanks!
