Hello all, I have a 2023 defender max HD9. I did my first oil change yesterday and am concerned that the oil filter didn’t seat properly. Is it possible to install the filter incorrectly if the filter cap bolted back like normal?

I couldn’t get the filter to fit snuggly onto cap when I was preparing to install the new filter so I just put the filter in directly by itself. Then I install the cap.
