  1. Hello, So I used the search option and was unable to find a decent answer. How top heavy are these things? Just wrapping up a recent elk trip and I find it QUITE surprising the low performance for off-roading ( I'm aware its a utility side by side). I was going up a hill that was steep but was quite off camber. Ended up using my winch to go in reverse back down the hill. During the trip I found myself using 3 wheels more than 4 wheels. Just looking for anyone's input. 2017 can am defender with soft doors (3 seater). 30x 10 x 14 on method rims 1" rear spacers for square set up s3 springs that are adjusted to the lowest setting. Rear rack that is currently unloaded for this trip.
  2. Hello, I have a 2017 defender XT with the 360 LT tracks. I bought mine used that ended up being in really good shape. Just needed it normal service. I ended up getting the 360lt due to they have less tendency to fall off the track vs Camso's. In fresh deep powder it is slow and have to use 4L with 4x4 and locked up. Normal powder I find that I have to use just 4L. Normal hard winter snow 4x4 or 2W in High works pretty well. The only regret that I have is not using them as much as I would like to.
  3. Thank you for the information. I did not see that pervious tread. This was more information that I was looking to confirm.
  4. Hello, I bought the defender pretty much to put tracks on it. After some research I have some questions for people with tracks. It is possible this unit will be used more with tracks Vs the tires. * I will buy the power steering plug in module. * I will run a snorkel vs buying the CVT kit Currently looking at the camso tracks VS the Apache tracks. It appears that camso are more self serviceable also have the two track guide. Apache tracks are single guide (like their sleds) and are alittle more difficult to self service. main question, which one would you prefer and why? Not at all worried about lead time or cost.
  5. Hello, New to me! I sold my Yamaha wolverine for to purchase a defender. So far I am enjoying the unit. The Yamaha was one excellent rig but it did lack power, shouldn't be having that issue anymore. * Method rims with tensor tires 30's * s3 springs which are fairly stiff. *rear cargo rack
