As the title states, I just installed an MTX sound bar but haven't yet wired it in. I do a lot of things but when it comes to electrical, 12v or not, I'm a complete idiot.  Not ashamed of admitting that.

Where do I connect the wires.  Is there a block somewhere I need to connect to?

Has someone done this and can direct me where I should run the wires.

I do know that it has to be connected to the ignition circuit so it has no power when the ignition is off.

ANY HELP, video links, pictures, written instructions or other advice is greatly appreciated.

Wish I could help ya but I’m in the same boat was hoping somebody would give their knowledge about this

New to the Defender (Max) team myself.  Have a camp a mile off road on a mountain.  Father in law's Polaris 900 was a learning experience as to what not to buy.  Only one month into ownership, but, very pleased.  Need a heater and doors, trying to figure out what is best for me.  An amazing machine.  50 years ago my father was driving me around in a M37 Military, now I'm driving him around in a Defender.  He can't wait to go and has a great time.

Welcome Jbird! I’m looking into the heater and doors also. With the amount of heat that comes in with a rear window on I’m thinking must just need doors

I'm in north western Pa.  Oil country.  Miles of trail out my back door, more trails at the camp.  Trails at camp are different than the ones in my backyard.  Stay on the trails in the oil country, as you don't know what is hidden in the weeds.  Lots of nasty surprises, steel rods, pipe, well casings, etc.  Will mess you and the machine up quick.  Have to stay off the Collins Pine property, Rent a cop Forestry Service will fine you $500.00 if they catch you on Collins property.  Neighbor at camp owns 6000 acres, let us ride, as he is good friends with FIL.  Crazy situation, 6000 acres of abandoned farms, homes and fields.  Lots to explore.  Not needing to look elsewhere for places to ride for now.  Hope to be ready to invite some visitors to ride with next summer.

That would be awesome to come up and ride there! Keep me posted on that and are there farms for sale? Looking to buy one

I know everyone don’t have a air blaster but under due care and caution !! Starter fluid works great but just a small amount. 😜

The good “old” starter fluid 👍🏻 This new stuff isn’t flammable enough

From previous Can Am's I've owned, they need to connect a computer to reset the message.  I asked about this and researched this to death...no other way to remove.

Hopefully someone has a better answer.

I did the above to reset my maint light and it erased my “live life unlimited” message and gauges do not raise and lower like before

Ive got a new 2019 Defender Max XD-10 Lone Star Edition.  I love it so far!  I have a couple of issues im wondering about.  I bought this in September and the brakes squeak all the time.  It doesn't sound like metal or anything but its annoying.  Last night, I was backing it into the garage and it sounded like one of the back brakes was rubbing.  Maybe some mud in the wheel?

Also, when it gets hot, after a long ride, there is something that comes on after the engine is turned off.  Its in the engine compartment, but I thought the fan was in the front.  Im just trying to make sure I don't have any "real" issues.  I have about 400 miles on it (30 hours) and I don't have a dealership right down the road.  Its about 2 hours so not an easy day.  Thanks for any help and suggestions.

Have a 19 DefenderXT brakes are loud also and I haven’t even hit my first oil change!

I don't carry a spare, even though we may be 30 miles away from the truck in the foothills, I do carry an airpump and had to use it once to help a friend out, we have also had one flat that required a trip back to the truck. I do carry a portable air compressor.

If you think you need a spare go with the 11", you will have the correct tire for the back and no problem steering unless you have a lock up type of front end.

Well I bought another complete set so I’ll have both on hand if I’d get a flat
