  1. For sure, here is a photo of the factory can-am fender flares. They look beefy in the photos, but I have yet to see any in person.
  2. Who makes the best fender flares for the Defender Max?
  3. Just wondering who purchased the extended warranty on their Defender? Is it worth the extra $$?
  4. Has anyone seen the new Can-Am Outlander 6×6? It's a beast! How long before we see a Can-am Defender 6x6? Talk about monster payload and towing capacity!
  5. I like the floor plan & the size of the of the 2019 Genesis Supreme Supreme Toy Hauler 2815V VORTEX. I just don't know about the quality and how well it will hold up over the years.
  6. That's awesome, makes me want to go out riding in the dunes!
  7. I'm trying to figure out the best placement to mount all of my yard tools on the Defender. Does anyone else have the full bed wall extender? Does it rattle much while driving? What do you use to mount tools to the side of it?
  8. Welcome to the forum @spartan45acp! Congrats on the XMR, it's one awesome looking machine. I've heard of guys running them as low as 10lbs but not quite sure what wheel setup they were running. I would try 15 & 15 and see how it feels.
  9. So what kind of Toy Haulers do you have to transport the Defender? I had a 2011 Raptor Toy Hauler a few years ago and it worked really well until we a couple of kids. 🙂 I'll be on the hunt next year for something in the 28ft range.
  10. The S3 Power Sports Can-Am Defender HD Springs are engineered with performance and functionality in mind. These Heavy Duty springs are designed to increase your load capacity and decrease suspension "sag" you get with factory springs. You will also improve vehicle stability with the increased spring rate and, in many cases, increase ground clearance. If you like to work hard or play hard, our Can-Am Defender HD Springs are a necessity. Extreme Duty (ED) Springs: A "stiffer" alternative to our HD Springs, Extreme Duty Springs are ideal when managing exceptionally heavy loads. These springs will now work on the front of the 2019 XMR, Lonestar and Cab models! More information can be found here: https://s3powersports.com/s3-power-sports-can-am-defender-hd-springs
  11. The one thing that bugs me is the location of the gauges. I don't like looking towards the center of the machine to view the speed/rpm/warning lights/etc. I'm sure some people don't care, but it just doesn't seem natural to me.
  12. NORFOLK, Neb. — Troopers have a new tool to help them with emergency efforts after receiving a UTV, according to the Nebraska State Patrol. The 2019 Can-Am Defender Max UTV from Curry Brothers Motorsports in Columbus will be utilized for search and rescue, SWAT Team and Police Service Dog deployment, processing crime scenes in rural areas, and medivac missions. 13. I'd like to see a Defender Max XTP model released.
  14. I'm looking for some input on the STI Xcomp SXS tires. The pricing for these tires are real good, however they are heavy! Here's some quick information on them: 10-ply rated radial featuring dual steel belts with nylon cap plies and polyester carcass. exceeds DOT requirements The large footprint and multi-angle shoulder treads make massive traction in intermediate to hard terrain and at any direction angle. The advanced two-stage radial carcass provides greater uniformity and balance, absorbs choppy terrain for superior ride comfort. Heavy-duty steel-belt plies increase durability, and a super-deep rim guard defends wheels from abuse Sizes & Specs X Comp ATR SIZE PLY RATING OVERALL DIAMETER (Inches) TREAD DEPTH (Inches) MAX PSI MAX LOAD CAPACITY @ 18 PSI TIRE WEIGHT (Pounds) PART # 28 / 10R-14 10 28.0 0.625 24.0 1165 lbs. 40.6 209-1625 30 / 10R-14 10 30.0 0.625 24.0 1320 lbs. 43.7 209-1627 32 / 10R-14 10 32.0 0.625 24.0 1520 lbs. 47.8 209-1629 32 / 10R-15 10 32.0 0.625 24.0 1475 lbs. 47.3 209-1647
  15. When I got my Defender, it was loaded with 30psi in the stock Big Horn 2.0 tires. After some research I dropped all four tires down to 18psi and it rides so much better. What pressure is everyone else running?
  16. This thread will contain reviews and questions for the Tusk Terrabite SXS tires. The Tusk Terrabite tire is the ultimate all-terrain tire for your UTV or ATV. The truck style tread pattern and premium rubber compound provides excellent multi-surface performance and high mileage wear. Aggressive shoulder and sidewall tread add protection, and bite in dirt, sand, and rocks. A smooth ride and great off road traction make the Terrabite a complete package for all-terrain performance. Here are some quick specs: DOT test standard compliant (FMVSS 571.119) at max operating pressure. Radial, 8 Ply Rated Construction. Truck style tread for smooth ride on hard surfaces. Excellent off road performance. High load ratings for today’s larger machines. Tread depth: 3/4 inch. Medium/Hard terrain tires
  17. Who has experience with the Maxxis Carnivores? Here's a good comparison between the Carnivore and Bighorn 2.0 tires:
  18. I believe the stock Bighorns 2.0 are around 28 pounds per tire. So, roughly 7 pounds per tire difference?
  19. Where are some good off-road places to go riding in Texas?
  20. I saw this on facebook and thought it was an awesome idea so I'd share it here. It's works in conjunction with the NOCO Trickle Charger. It displays the battery percentage and has a plug for the charger. This seems like a good mounting location for a clean/factor finish. https://www.amazon.com/NOCO-GC016-Dashmount-Battery-Indicator/dp/B009MI9L6U/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1543437855&sr=8-1&keywords=X-Connect+12+Volt+Dashmount+Indicator
  21. I'm looking for a complete set of stock Defender Max safety nets in good condition.
  22. Kanati Terra Master - Features and Benefits
  23. That looks like a solid choice to replace the stock Bighorns. I like the fact they are DOT approved and 10 ply. My main worry would be the weight difference between the stock tires and those and the amount of power it would rob. According the the website the 30" tires are 35.4 pounds.
