Got it, thanks, I now do the same.

You did an amazing job. Thanks for sharing.

I have fender flares coming, they were on back order, it looks like they do work with a rock guard. Is you rock guard factory or aftermarket? I like the step.
Thank you

Great mountain pic, and cool looking Defender!
I need to add side lights like you have to illuminate the woods and see game at night. I was going to mount on top but looks like you mounted just above door? Can you send a close-up of your mounting? Thanks!

Thank you Joe and Bear! Seems to be a great group helping each other. My wife and I take the Defender on rides around our property every morning and evening and love it. I'm planning on a solo run to the center of the national forest and camp for a night or two. Just waiting to put some hours on machine to make sure it stays reliable as help is hard to come by and takes along time in the middle of the Ottawa National Forest/Porcupine Mountains. Not to mention I'm and old guy!

From my inexperienced viewpoint, yes, running in high is ok. I've been testing the system with Diff-Lock one and off this last week and week-en and it certainly responds better in turns with Diff off. So if I'm in the woods with sharp turns, 3' of snow, I stop and turn Diff Off and it performs great. On open lakes with 12" or less of snow I run high with Diff off. On bare ice -- scary -- I run high with Diff on, but go slow as this machine can get sideways quickly.
I'm going to add a few studs for better control on hard glazy snow and bare ice.

I ordered and tried to install, failed, took to dealer and they said will not work. Although the website says it will work...

I also added a 50" light and 2 square lights at angles -- all on top, used the factory accessory cable and it worked great. I added a small BusBar overhead tied to the BusBar under the dash. Also added 2 lights facing backwards and a 20" lite bar on front guard. I ran out of accessories switch (blinker, rear winch...and others) holes so I added 2 above for the front and rear lights. Good luck.

Thanks Bad Daddy! I run mine of-course in 4WD, I did notice it does not ty to "plow" thru tight corners in the woods when the Diff-Lock is off. Just not certain if its hard on the machine to run without Diff-Lock. I'll take your lead and run it all the time. I have so much stuff I've dded I'll take pics for the rest of the guys and get uploaded.

Greetings... Purchased my Defender and for 2 weeks been installing accessories to include LT360 tracks. Much better than my Ranger was.
Question, do you run tracks with Diff-Lock on all the time? Thank you. Ride Safe
Michigan Upper Peninsula riding in the snow and lakes is terrific!

Care with all the snow...got three feet here and hit a large rock covered in snow, track making an ugly sound...no visible damage but back to the dealer as I can't find the cause...
