  1. I recently purchased a speaker box from Rock’n Radios. The mounting kit for it you have to drill four 1/4” holes through the roof to hold the speakers up. The box with speakers probably weighs a little over 5#    If I do decide to mount it this way I was thinking of using some 3/8” flat strap as a backing plate. Any thoughts on mounting it to the roof ?

I went with the Corbin custom works kit and added the horn kit along with it. I was impressed with the fit and finish of it. These guy did a nice job with it from the wire insulation, waterproofing, etc. everything was perfect length, no wire trimming. Came with factory matching toggle switches. Truly plug and play. No tie ins to the ecu, just needed power and ground.

Does it use the rear tail lights for the turn signals also ? Where did you tap into the power source at for power and ground

Well... not going onto a max... but I went with the SuperATV deluxe plug and play. Just got it after a backorder and my hunting trip TO HELL....

Hoping to get it installed next week. Trying to get things in order here at home first. But during a quick examination of the installation instructions it is powered via the under dash power block. Unfortunately in my case.... with the heated cab all that is pretty BURIED!!! Thankfully I thought of these type of things when I added another power block that I can access. And the brain? It is supposed to mount under the middle seat... Umm... I have a cubby there.... guess that's gonna need some attention too....

I like the switches matching, but may work on more of an auto style setup for my blinkers...

Where did you purchase the extra power block

You will need to tug fairly FIRMLY on both corners of the hood forward.... get some silicone and lube the little rubber grommets that hold it in place then flip until it clicks up... took me a bit to figure out also.... Hopefully that helps... I see you decided on the XT... Love mine... Bear is a two door... But thats all I need... For now anyway...

I purchased an ‘18 lone star with 30 hours and 230 miles on it at Christmas.  Dealer sold it to me for $17,800 so yes I would definitely say that price is quite high

Did it have a warranty with it ?

  8. I recently have the opportunity to purchase a 2018 lone star with 933 miles, full glass windshield and extra storage compartments. Also comes with a 14’ trailer. Their asking price is $19,995. I’m new to the utv’s and was wondering if that's a reasonable price or is it worth less
