  1. Not to long ago I was reading where someone used jeep mirrors, (from a cj7 off of e-bay?) and used a similar bolt system. Anyone recall or have a link. I have the Can am mirrors and after a little dust, cant see anything. Dusted over and cloudy even when cleaned. Thanks

  2. Hello, been reading up trying to find a good solution to my heater always blowing hot. I have checked to make sure the selector switch (hot-to -cold) is moving and it is, but even with the heat off and the vents closed, it blows hot. Has anyone found a way to close the line with an additional switch or value. On this 101 degree day i almost cooked. Thanks

  3. Just a quick followup to a question i had earlier. Here what i had welded up and mounted to the rear of my defender. For now a Harbor Freight 3500lb winch. If i really need it and use it i will upgrade to a larger winch.

  4. Hello All,

You can add the park brake to 2019, and possibly older machines. Depending on the brake pedal, you replace the pedal or  add several parts (lever, clip, bushing ,spring) and install. I just did mine for the cost of $32. I found the link on Facebook, Defender Nation, or Cab Nation. Cant take credit for the mod just passing it along. Admin, i hope listing the other sites is permitted. I could also list the parts needed if necessary. The other site just has such a good write up on it i dont think i could improve on it.

  5. Anyone know of a "bolt on" rear winch mount or bracket. One that sits higher in the rear than the receiver type, hold a 3500-5000 lb winch. I have a kfi tube rear bumper and don't need or want a complete bumper set up. I have seen several for other brands but not the Defender. though i would ask before i start a build. something like this =

  6. I have a 2019 xt hard cab and have taken a 1/4 inch rubber mat from Tractor supply ( or any farm type store) trimmed it to fit the floor and placed it like a floor mat. Haven't  ridden the bike since but it has got to have some affect on reducing the noise. I am also planning a sound reducing material behide the seat area soon. I will let you know how it works.

  7. Hello,

New to Defender but not Can-Am. Have had several spyders in the family and past commanders. All were excellent machines, hoping this one will be also.
