Thank You, sounds like my heater is working properly then.

Got Inferno Heater installed. Center vents blow lots of air, lower vents not so much. Heat is almost non existent at the defroster vents. Is this normal?
-
True, and I might throw my mr. “buddy” heater in just for those times.
-
That’s actually a great idea. I considered using a mr.. heater. Then decided I’d buck up and just spend the money on the inferno heater and installation.

I was thinking the same thing.

Area dealer has done several of them. 4 hours, $420 plus tax. Not bad-

Ya me too-
This time I’ll probably check on a cost, but not pay for 8 hours labor?
Might be doing it myself after I solicit the help from my son-in-law whose really handy with tech stuff.

Thx, it’s on the way, here by the weekend. Install myself or have a shop do it?
I’m handy enough, but it was in the teens here this morning.

Thanks, probably what I’ll be doing. I’m going to go see a canvas guy who makes all manner of things.
I’m going to see if he couldn’t put in a second window, I.e. cut out the center section and add up/down zippers. Save having to roll up the entire window section as opposed to just the center.- 2

Let us know if it works well. I’m also looking at it.

I have a 22 HD10 that I put soft doors on. When running down the road there is quite an air gap at the top of the driver side door. This might not be fixable and might be due to a vacuum effect. Or do I bend the top of the metal frame inwards? Will that help? The door is tight at the latch and lower half.
I want to add a heater, not sure which model to buy. I need a defroster more than anything. I’m looking for one that doesn’t obstruct the space/leg room in the cab like the OEM one does on the limited models.
Lastly I’m looking at the power windshield from Rough Country on sale now at $799, 1/2 the cost of the OEM model. It looks to be sturdy, but heavy. Advertised as being able to run with it open a little or a lot. Anyone have experience with Rough Country? Thanks all in advance, I’m learning what works as I go.

Honda 400, on the swirling dust behind, do you run a full rear windshield? I’ve had the chance to use the versa shield. Not having a wiper is a pain. Leaning now towards glass tip out. Besides mine got dropped in shipping. Has some corner chipping in it and some gouges. Working with warranty now.

Can Am glass flip out windshield is probably the best option all around. Crazy expensive up front, but you'll never have to worry about fine scratches, from cleaning it, when you're driving into the sun and you can always add a windshield wiper.
I've had the glass flip up on since new in 2018 and have yet to have any problems in any sort of riding, mud, dust or rain.
Hope this helps. Good luck.
Thx, I thought of that. Not enough air on really hot days. With experience from my Ranger just sold the 1/2 windshield is the way to go on warmer days. With the glass flip out, the dirt here, which is fine as flour, just covers you.
thx again -
New here, thank you- new Defender HD10, I’m looking for the best windshield for extreme dusty conditions. Surfing UTV sites and found a poly windshield that has 2 vents centered on each side near the bottom and another vent middle top. Anybody have one and is it enough venting to blow the dust out the open side window area? I bought a versa fold which will work great, but on cold mornings I’d like full coverage.

I saw a gizmo for about $150 that turns your cell phone into a Sat phone. I was surprised that monthly plans were fairly cheap with no contracts, pay as you go. I think one would be handy out in the back country, especially this time of year.
