We have a 2021 hd8 and I’m looking to get a little more ground clearance and I’m not sure what all of the options are. Puck? Bracket? Looking for a little lift to make room for 28’’ / 29’’ in tires. Like I said, I don’t need much. It’s a ranch buggy that occasionally makes it to the trails. Any recommendations?

Can’t answer this question, but can relate to the issue. We had an issue 1 month after purchasing a hd8, dealer replaced front diff. This was at 30 hours on the machine. Cuirntly sitting at 60 hours and the grinding started again. Do you have an update or any resolution?

I had the same question about this topic. We also have a 21 defender hd8 that needs some ground clearance. Thinking I will do the same aarm and spring set up. Is there a set of 30” tires that will fit the stock rim?
also did you have to use any spacers with this set up?

I see your set up on your profile picture. What are you running? I do not have the arched a arms. It’s a stock hd8 crew.

We bought a 2021 defender hd8 earlier this year and have gone on a couple of trips now and it’s pretty clear we need to go up a couple inches. I’ve read about a couple options, spacers, hd springs, brackets, portals… For the guys that have gone up 2-4 inches what’s the do’s and don’ts?
My ideal set up would be running 30in tires all the way around.

Is a spacer necessary in the rear when using a puck or bracket?
