  1. Do they make softer springs for the defenders will help with articulation. If you go look at my video (in the video pictures portion of the forum) of the step up you can see how stiff it seems left to right. I don't want to loose any height and clearance, but the lateral articulation is exactly what you would expect from a rid that is also intended for work. Problem being that I want to wheel this more than I want to do work with it. So, I need longer softer springs I think. Any info would be great.
  2. And this was a step up from last weekend IMG_2969.mov
  3. let's see if it will let me upload this video. IMG_3127.mov
  4. Do you really need a heater? I have a 19 and the motor puts off a lot of heat into the cab. Last weekend I was at 9000 feet and it was less than 50 degrees when we started back down and I had to leave the windscreen up (and that is with only a front screen and half doors). As we stopped, I would crack the half doors to let the heat out of the lower half of the cab. I can see a need for a heater if you are in the snow, using it to plow, or it wasn't going to be over freezing on several of your riding days. Otherwise, I don't see the need. Being fully enclosed, you may need it to keep the windows from fogging, but if not, I'd try it without one first.
  5. They have not sold yet. yes they are the 9s and 11s.
  6. I'm assuming that the standard bed side extenders won't work because you also need the part that goes on the bed at the cab (and am assuming that wont fit because of the kick ass snorkels. Anyway, has anyone seen and side rails that work with the XMR and the snorkel?
  7. The flip up windshield now has about 100 miles on it in the up position. These were mostly dirt roads with speeds of 35 and under. In short it worked really well. Sure it flexes, butt it is only the windscreen. The struts don't move. I am impressed. By the way, the "cracked open" position is worthless for letting enough air in to cool you off.
  8. Do not paint. Wrapping is the best option if you aren't going to replace. Some of the wraps we have here in Idaho also have some texture to them too, which is cool.
  9. What have you seen them go for? I'd be stoked to get 200 for the set. I'm replacing them with Maxxis Rampage 30 x 10 x 14.
  10. As part of my purchase I got half doors, which are being installed today. While I was there, they had a flip windshield in stock. I decided to take the chance. I hope the rear windscreen comes in before Friday as my wife is taking it to the woods for a week (while I get the pleasure of working) Also, tires are going to be ordered today at lunch. Maxxis carnivore or rampage depending on availability.
  11. Thanks for the update. Half way through your post of was ready to pull the trigger, But at 10-15 mph is didn't feel stable - I'm like 20 to 40 on dirt roads with pot holes and run off ruts. Hummm
  12. So we have about 165 miles on our 2019 XMR. So far we love the shit out of it. We want a windshield. It looks like a lot of people have the flip up model. How does it work while you are in motion? Does it always need to be flipped down when you are going? We were thinking about a half fold windshield, but if these are better it maybe something to look at. Any info would be appreciated.
