  1. Yep, replaced mine and a quite a few others with a synthetic rope. Use a 3/16” x 50’ rope for 3500 lb winches and a 1/4” x 50’ rope for 4500, 5000, and 6000 lb.
  2. When you turn the key off there can be a whining sound from the cpu while it is shutting down. When you check it again, stay in it and watch the gauge, if the sound stops when the gauge powers down this is the case and is normal.
  3. I took the measurement at the tightest or closest point, the Defender with the offset A arms also has a spring/shock upgrade so it show a little more clearance, with the stock spring/shock the offset A arm provides 2"+ of additional tire clearance.
  4. Nope, up to 30's are fine using stock A arms w/o any lift, but 32's will rub when turning. We had a shop 2021 Defender Pro Limited stock setup with 32's and had to go down to 30's because we were wearing through the plastic inner fender.
  5. I've installed a few of these now, we also had a stock Defender in so in case anyone is curious I decided to take pictures with measurements to show the difference between them and the stock A arms using stock tires and wheels. The picture shows a jack but the full weight of the Defender is on the wheels, I just didn't bother moving the jack.
  6. Personally I wouldn’t mount 30x10x14 tires on the stock rims, the front rims are narrower (for the stock 9” wide tire) and the rear rims are wider (for the stock 11” wide tire) being the 30’s are 10” wide there’s an inch difference in both front and rear rims. Not saying they won’t mount up to stock rims, I just wouldn’t do it, and in the shop we recommend against it.
  7. Probably that and/or they may not fit the stock wheels, the stock wheels are different width front and back, I mounted my 30’s on raceline wheels
  8. Are you sure, https://www.denniskirk.com/bfgoodrich/14-front-rear-mud-terrain-t-a-km3-radial-tire.p654511.prd/654512.sku
  9. I’m not 100% sure, I don’t have fender flares on mine and any of the defenders I’ve installed fender flares on have had stock tires. If the fender flare doesn’t extend past the stock wheel well then I would guess they shouldn’t interfere with the tires, but I don’t want to give any miss information without actually having done it.
  10. No, I have 30’s with no lift and there’s plenty of clearance
  11. I have KM3's on 2 vehicles (Raptor & CJ) and really like them, I would have put them on the defender but due to availability at the time I went with 30x10x14 maxxis liberty's, personally I prefer the 30" size, I haven't experienced any affects to performance, top speed, no low gear warnings coming up in the display, etc. Certainly Newtons second law of motion applies here but you're just not adding any considerable weight or rolling resistance, especially if your staying with the 27x11x14's
  12. I have 30's on mine with stock suspension (picture), they do not rub at all. We had 32's on our shop limited pro and they would rub when turning. We have put on a set of SuperATV forward offset A arms on a defender, they allow up to 34" tires without a lift. https://www.superatv.com/can-am-defender-hd-10-high-clearance-2-inch-forward-offset-a-arms
  13. I've install a few Cam am wiper kits on XMR's and you have to mount the reservoir in a different location to the far left of the snorkels. If your defender is 2020 and up and you have tracks with the CVT air intake relocation kit that enters the rear of the cab it usually makes the reservoir install tighter fit.
  14. I use a milwaukee portable radio like the one pictured, it gets good radio reception, sounds good and with the center seat down it sits perfectly between the drivers and passenger seats, it doesn't have a CD player but you can plug a ipod into it.

    Hello!

Tires are 30" Maxxis Liberty's, same ones that come on the Maverick RC Turbo RR, mirrors are stock Can Am, PN; 715002459 for the side, PN; 715003638 for the rear view

    Hello!

Not much of an internet surfer but stumbled on the forum and joined, I'm a retired guy with a part time gig at a family run BRP dealer installing accessories and doing atv, utv, sxs, motorcycle, snowmobile, even chainsaw set-ups.... you know the fun stuff, seeing all the new goodies! The picture is of our Limited and not yet retired chic!
  17. I see this is a few days old and maybe you have and answer, but I've installed many SAUTV brand DRL's with built in turn signal/hazard lights, the video is of my personal Defender with these lights. SAUTV brand also have only one wire for the yellow turning/hazard lights because they are internally grounded to the socket which the factory harness plugs into. Being that you only have one wire for turn/hazard lights it's a safe bet that yours are grounded the same way. I'll admit I've only used this brand in conjunction with SuperAtv kits not using the 3/4" round lights that come with the kit. From what you described yours sounds very similar, the ones I've used the factory harness just plugs in (no splicing) for the running lights, as for the turn/hazard wire it gets connected to the turn signal/hazard positive wire from the relay control module supplied with the kit, in SuperAtv case they are yellow for the left, green for the right, the other wire is then unused. In other words the 3/4" round turn signals require 2 wires because they are grounded to the relay control box and the DRL's with built in yellow lights only require 1 because they are grounded using the factory harness. I hope this helps.....😀 1535221075_Turnsignals.mp4
