finally had a break in the rain long enough for the dog and I to get the nitro outta the back shed ... time to start gettin it ready for the crappie bite... our family crappie trip this year is to pickwick lake ... with the few warmer days we've had I'm starting to get excited about it ... most the family focuses on crappie but at pickwick I may get a lil side tracked and try to catch some smallies since it's not a common fish for us in central Missouri

Awesome set-up @Stapleton ! How did the Defender handle towing your boat? I've got a 21' center console NauticStar Angler that I was thinking about pulling around at my lake house. The only hesitation I have is I have a steep incline down to the dock from the house so I will probably just use my truck instead of the Defender.

It pulls my little nitro great I also have a nice 42 acre subdivision lake just up the road from me that my family lives by and they get lake pass stickers once a year and they dont fish so looks like I'm the lucky guy that gets to slip in there I believe I'll be using the defender from time to time to put the boat it and out of but a 21 footer on a steep ramp may be a lil much ... but I wouldn't put it past it ! May even make it look easy ha ha these defenders impress me with how capable they are every time I get in it !

There was a tree trimming company in our neighborhood today trimming trees around the power lines.  I was able to score some free mulch so got to use both toys today to spread it around...

And this is where the mulch is going.  I'm also building a small border with natural stone found around the property.

That's the way to do it, Modified! I guess it's just that time of year to trim trees and mulch because I've been doing the same around my place.

I need to get a little trailer like you have for the branches.  That's a good setup you have there!  What length is it?

Nice photos guys! Free mulch, can’t beat that! I pull a similar size trailer trailer and it does great for those projects. Mine is a 10 ft trailer with out the ramp. Unfortunately I have a Miller 250 bobcat on mine at the moment hat I’m using for my property fence right now. Lots of projects but not enough hands I guess. Nice job!

Thanks! It's an 8'x10' trailer and it has been invaluable. I've used the heck out of it the last 10 years and it just keeps on trucking. I've been considering getting a dump trailer though. While this little trailer does great, I still have to hand unload anything I put on it. I would be really handy if I could just load it up with material and then dump it quickly when needed.
